Living in Jesusland - 37"WX57 1/2"H ($300)

This quilt grew out of my studies, which revealed the cross was actually a pagan symbol which predated Christianity. Fascinatingly it was a symbol for life, for vitality and, even for man. As an artist I find the cross to be a powerful graphic image. In this quilt I attempted to marry the two crosses, the pagan crosses (nonlinear) with the most somber (geometric) black cross, which dominates and unites the entire quilt.

Designed, Nonlinear Cutting, Machine Appliquéd, Machine Pieced, Hand Quilted
